You will aid by providing solutions to complex problems in a manner which meets both functional and security requirements. To do this you will often work with other distributed team members to discuss current system status and desired future enhancements.Roles and Responsibilities:* Responsible for the administration of computer systems hardware, network gear, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, zero clients, storage devices, and virtualization infrastructure.* Install, support, upgrade, and configure systems (Windows/Linux/VMWare/SQL Server, Horizon UAG, VDI)* Maintain security and recovery procedures such as patching, applying STIGs, and performing backups of systems.* Administration of infrastructure including servers, zero clients, malware protection software, HBSS, syslog servers, databases, ACAS, etc.* Upgrade systems and processes as needed for enhanced functionality and/or security issue resolution.* Find potential risks or inefficiencies associated with the configuration of the system and recommend mitigation strategies.* Ensure compliance with data security policies, relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and TRMC cyber security program implementation plans following TRMC directives and applicable RMF requirements.* Authors and/or reviews team standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation to ensure consistent systems configuration and knowledge transfer to other team members.Basic Qualifications:* An active TS/SCI security clearance is required in order to be considered for this position* Minimum 8 years in a technical systems administration role* Education: Technical bachelor's degree (experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)* Able to lift to 35 lbs.* Willing to travel up to 25%Preferred Qualifications:* Strong background in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of virtualization environments -VMware preferred (VxRail, vSphere, vDS, NSX)* Virtual Desktop Infrastructure – Horizon, UAG, Provision and Maintain VM pools* Solid understanding and experience supporting zero clients* Strong Windows Skills (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Web Application Proxy, ADFS, PKI)* Strong Linux Skills (Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, RHEL, Satellite, scripting, ansible playbooks)* Experience supporting systems within a DoD Risk management Framework (RMF) accredited environment* SIEM (Splunk, SolarWinds, etc.)* Strong documentation skills (Writing SOPs, Creating Networking Diagrams)* Coordination, Communication and Presentation skills**Basic Compensation: $142,000 - $195,000 (For Hawaii Only)** The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.**Additional Compensation:**KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
