Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Administrator at Hurlburt Field, FL to maintain and support servers, workstations, storage, and applications in a fast-paced 24/7 operation. You will troubleshoot performance issues, manage end‑user devices, servers, and databases, and work with Microsoft and Red Hat environments, VMware, and secure networks.

Required are a TS/SCI clearance, CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570.01), a related Bachelor's degree, and 2–4 years' experience.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, and RHEL 8/9.
• Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory Suite and fundamentals of virtualization (VMware).
• Strong troubleshooting of server, workstation, storage, and application issues.

Systems Administrator

About The Role

• Maintain and support servers, workstations, storage devices, and applications such as CAVOK, Clear-Com, Minotaur, VMWare, ChatSurfer, and more.
• Troubleshoot application performance issues and manage end-user devices, servers, and databases.
• Work with cutting-edge technology, including Microsoft and RHEL servers, VMware, SIPRNet, and other classified networks.
• Solve connectivity and outage issues under time constraints while installing and configuring new capabilities to operational environments.
• Apply logistics processes to ensure accountability for all IT equipment.

This fast‑paced role requires a self‑starter who can work independently or as part of a team, with opportunities to enhance systems in a 24/7 operation that includes shift work and travel.

Basic Qualifications

• Current CompTIA Security+ certification (DoD 8570.01)
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-4 years of experience (or equivalent experience and certifications in lieu of a degree)
• Hands‑on expertise in Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, RHEL 8.0/9.0, and Microsoft products like Active Directory Suite
• Physical ability to lift 60 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military C5ISR experience or operational environment expertise
• Certifications like RHCSA, VCP-DCV, ITIL v4, or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
• Experience with storage solutions, audio intercom systems, and production virtual environments.

Pay Range

$59,150.00 - $106,925.00
