Job summary

MANTECH International Corporation seeks a motivated Systems Administrator to support a Department of War contract in Alexandria, VA, managing enterprise information systems within a secure Microsoft environment.

Responsibilities include Tier II/III support, Windows servers and Active Directory administration, Microsoft 365 services, VMware and Azure, patching with Ivanti, vulnerability remediation per ACAS/STIGs, and travel between Alexandria and Arlington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of related systems administration experience (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
• Security+ Certification
• Experience supporting enterprise Microsoft environments at a Tier II level
• Virtualization experience with VMware vSphere
• Experience with vulnerability remediation based on ACAS scan results and security guidance with the ability to implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and system hardening procedures.

• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file shares, and print services. Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Provide Tier II and Tier III technical support for desktop, server, and enterprise application issues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, network, and account-related problems.
• Apply operating system and application patches using Ivanti or similar enterprise management tools. Perform vulnerability remediation based on ACAS scan results and security guidance. Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and system hardening procedures.
• Administer VMware virtual machines. Support Microsoft Azure virtual machines and cloud-based services.
• Travel is required between Alexandria, VA and Arlington, VA locations.
