Eclipse Aerospace is hiring a Systems Administrator to ensure reliable, secure on‑premises and cloud infrastructure. You will manage virtual servers, identity systems, and critical applications while collaborating with IT colleagues and business teams.

The role requires hands‑on expertise, strong documentation, and the ability to troubleshoot diverse issues. Some evenings/weekends may be required as operations demand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on systems administration experience in a business/enterprise environment.
• Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills (Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
• VMware vSphere/ESXi administration experience.
• Networking knowledge: Cisco, TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs/switching.
• Experience with backup/recovery, cybersecurity, and incident troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks, strong documentation.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsabilités

• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V environments.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cloud services.
• Manage identity/access systems including Entra ID and MFA.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and security issues.
• Oversee backup/recovery operations and DR testing.
• Configure Cisco network devices and related tech.
• Maintain critical apps, coordinate upgrades/migrations.
• Install/maintain servers, endpoints, and network gear.
• Maintain inventories and documentation.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support as needed.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year based on education and experience/expertise

General Summary

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the reliable, secure operation and ongoing improvement of Eclipse Aerospace's on-premises infrastructure, virtual servers, enterprise identity systems, cloud services, and business critical applications. This hands‑on position requires independent troubleshooting, sound technical judgment, thorough documentation, and effective collaboration with IT colleagues and business users. Secondary responsibilities include end‑user support, service request resolution, and hardware and software lifecycle management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V virtual infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cloud services.
• Manage identity and access systems, including Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect SSO, and MFA.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure and security issues.
• Manage backup and recovery operations, including restoration testing and disaster recovery.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco network devices, MPLS, VLANs, switching and routing.
• Maintain business critical applications and coordinate upgrades and migrations.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, endpoints, network equipment and software.
• Maintain system inventories, configuration records and technical documentation.
• Independently troubleshoot complex issues and manage assigned projects to completion.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support as needed.

Qualifications & Experience (Required):

• 5+ years of hands‑on systems administration experience in a business or enterprise environment.
• Administration experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and file permissions.
• Hands‑on VMWare vSphere/ESXi administration experience.
• Working knowledge of Cisco networking, TCP/IP, subnetting, FLANs and switching.
• Experience with backup and recovery operations, cybersecurity, and incident troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as operational needs require.

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science information Systems or related field.
• Professional certifications such as VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, or CompTIA.
• Experience with Microsoft Hyper‑V, Entra ID, hybrid identity, SSO and MFA.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and NetApp storage solutions.
• PowerShell/Power CLI scripting and administrative automation experience.
• Experience with cloud migrations and Active Directory upgrades.
