Job summary

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. seeks a System Vulnerability Analyst to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and securing customized solutions across networks and systems.

The candidate will perform vulnerability assessments, mitigation reporting, and support for high-security environments with OCOnUS travel as needed. A strong background in zero trust and pentesting is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field; required experience as specified
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
• OCONUS travel may be required
• Experience conducting assessments and mitigation reports
• Zero trust experience related to CNE/CNO, network infrastructure, architecture and hardening is a plus
• Pentesting experience is a plus
• Certifications such as OSCP, GRTP, CRTE, CRTO, PenTest+, GCIH are a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, design, develop, test, secure, integrate, implement, operate and maintain custom ANS solutions.
• Operate and maintain ANS systems to ensure secure performance.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigation reports.

ANS is seeking a System Vulnerability Analyst to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
• A Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, Or a Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and 4 years of relevant experience. An associates degree plus 10 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
• Degree must be in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, and Information Security)
• OCONUS travel is periodically required.
• Needs demonstrated performance conducting assessments and mitigation reports.
• Zero trust experience rel to CNE, CNO, network infrastructure, architecture and hardening is a plus.
• Analyst should be comfortable with network analysis, network anomaly detection, IOC's and be able to analyze data to discover malicious or unauthorized activity collected from various sources.
• Having pentesting experience is a plus
• Any certs such as OSCP, GRTP, CRTE, CRTO, or pen test+, GCIH is a plus.
