Job summary

NAXCON GmbH seeks a System Test Engineer (m/f/d) in Germany to set up and maintain intricate test environments, design system and acceptance tests, and perform field, system, and acceptance testing. You will document results and troubleshoot IP networks including IPv4/v6, routing, and VPNs.

Proficiency with Jira X-Ray, Wireshark, and Oracle VM is expected; ISTQB certification is a plus. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, a comparable STEM field, or equivalent technical training.
• Several years of professional experience in software testing and verification/validation activities.
• Experience with complex IP network structures (IPv4/v6, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS).
• Solid knowledge of routing and switching, including OSPF and BGP, and experience with tunneling technologies (L2TP, GRE, VPN).
• Experience with voice protocols (SIP, RTP) and tools like Jira X-Ray, IBM Doors, Wireshark, Oracle VM.
• German and English communication skills; ISTQB certification is a plus.
