Job summary

Maximus seeks a System Test Engineer to provide subject-matter proficiency for USAF missions. You will develop test documents, procedures, and perform modular through end-to-end testing across cloud and web-based systems.

• Experience testing RESTful interfaces and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition.
• Develop test documents and procedures for system testing.
• Execute manual and automated testing including unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end tests.
• Perform additional technical and test-related duties as required.

Job description

The System Test Engineer provides subject matter proficiency for our USAF mission. This role is responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing test documents, developing procedures, performing various types of manual and automated software testing including, but not limited to, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing. Shall perform other technical and/or test-related duties as required.

This role is contingent upon award.

This role is remote and requires a TS/SCI clearance.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly

• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).

• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to verify system operability and compliance.

• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).

• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.

• Practical experience testing and analyzing RESTful interfaces and sending/receiving RESTful information.

• Practical experience testing in a cloud environment.

• DCWF Job Code: 671 Intermediate.

• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time, as needed.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.

• ISTQB Advanced, CompTIA Security+ or other relevant certifications.
