System Supervisor - Talent Acquisition
Talent Acquisition Supervisor Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of recruiters and talent acquisition professionals.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team success.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Develop direct reports to meet team and organizational goals through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments.
- Hold direct reports accountable for actions while coaching individuals to increase success.
- Ensure work is distributed appropriately across the function to achieve team and organizational goals.
- Establish a cadence of regularly scheduled one‑on‑ones, team huddles, and development sessions.
- Interview, orient, train, develop, and evaluate subordinates and recommend appropriate personnel actions to attract, retain, and motivate qualified employees.
Recruitment Strategy And Planning
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create comprehensive recruitment plans.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment processes.
- Work with Talent Acquisition leadership to define goals for the talent team and how to achieve them through training, KPIs, and development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, community groups, and other external constituents to promote Bronson recruitment.
- Plan, execute, and participate in a variety of internal and external onsite and virtual career‑driven events.
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state employment, civil rights, and labor laws, rules, and regulations.
- Act as a resource to leadership to ensure a fair and consistent process, appropriate communication, and legal compliance.
Full-cycle Recruitment
- Oversee the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer negotiation, and following candidates through to start date.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Participate in special projects as requested and provide recommendations for improvement and change within budgetary constraints.
Metrics And Reporting
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the talent acquisition function.
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on recruitment metrics and trends.
- Perform activities that support programs and services including, but not limited to EEO/affirmative action, employment requirements, and employment‑related programs.
- Prepare a variety of reports and analyses.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communication, or a relevant field.
Experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources.
- 3+ years of previous leadership experience leading recruiters (preferably clinical recruiters) and talent acquisition professionals.
- Ability to work non‑traditional hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
- Ability to be on‑call and responsive 24/7.
- Required to attend career events regularly and hold recruiters accountable for attendance and participation in numerous events per month.
- Must be the subject matter expert on clinical recruitment.
- Must possess demonstrated experience working in high‑pressure situations and the ability to adapt to various leadership styles.
- Ability to travel up to 20% depending on business needs.
