Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a System Software Engineer for the UEFI Firmware team in California. You will contribute to features and code for UEFI firmware, document data and code flows, and debug complex firmware issues across a global set of teams.

Strong C skills and ARM experience are essential, with a focus on low-level OS components and device drivers. You will work on simulations, FPGA bring-up, and pre/post-silicon verification, collaborating with worldwide teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in low-level operating system functionality, specifically ARM technologies and programming.
• Superb C programming and debugging skills.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
• Experience with UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOS, Linux kernel are preferred.
• Working experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers.
• Experience working with AI development tools.

We are now hiring a System Software Engineer for the UEFI Firmware team! You will be heavily involved with the early modeling and simulation required to produce our world-class products, and will follow the project all the way through the development process to deployment in gaming consoles, servers, and AI devices that are used throughout the world.

What you'll be doing:

• Features/code development for UEFI firmware

What we need to see:

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD for Level 2, and 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits .
