Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a software engineer to write system software drivers and utilities for POS terminals, servers, and peripheral devices. You will work on the middle layer interfacing between POS software and hardware on Windows and Linux, across Intel x86 and ARM architectures.

The role involves developing for NCR Voyix Edge (Linux containers), debugging, and collaborating with offshore teams to deliver robust software, while producing clear technical documentation and design releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–6 years of software development experience.
• Experience with C, C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience on Windows and Linux.
• Working knowledge of computer architectures and emerging tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop system software drivers and utilities for POS terminals, servers, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot problems and propose technical solutions.
• Assist in design and modification of complex retail systems.
