SciTec, a Firefly Aerospace Company, is seeking a System Security Architect in Boulder, CO to design and coordinate security controls across domains, protecting computing systems against external, insider, and supply chain threats. The role requires close collaboration with software, procurement, and information assurance teams and strong technical communication. A current DoD/DoE clearance is required.

Qualificações

• Current SECRET DoD or DoE clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience (8 years).
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a cybersecurity role or a technical role supporting system security.
• Demonstrated familiarity with PKI and cryptographic systems.
• Familiarity with firewalls, segmentation, authenticating proxies, and zero-trust architectures.
• Familiarity with endpoint hardening, EDR/IDS, and anomaly detection.
• Familiarity with log collection, SIEM, and SOAR.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Structured threat modeling using ATT&CK, STRIDE, and MRAP-C; identify risks and attack paths.
• Recommend design architectures and security controls to mitigate risks.
• Support development and procurement in implementing controls.
• Align controls to regulatory and accreditation requirements with IA/GRC teams.
• Mentor staff and improve SciTec cybersecurity and software engineering processes.
• Additional duties as required.
