Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Technical Staff System Performance Architect to lead performance optimization and benchmarking for mobile products within the TPPA team in Austin, Texas. You will define performance requirements, evaluate hardware/firmware/software impacts, and drive system-level decisions with multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
15+ years of experience in system performance engineering.
Deep understanding of system and x86 processor architecture.
Experience applying AI-driven solutions to performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Define system performance requirements and optimization strategies.
Collaborate with system EE, ME, thermal, BIOS, EC and software teams.
Evaluate impact of new hardware/firmware/software on system performance.
Identify bottlenecks and guide trade-offs for product development.
Represent the TPPA organization in cross-functional reviews.
