Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a System Operator Trainee in the Hawthorn Woods/Lake County area to support the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities, with customer service exposure as needed. Under the supervision of the Field Supervisor, you’ll install, operate, and inspect treatment equipment, collect samples, prepare reports, and follow IEPA and ICC requirements.
This is a union position with a starting wage of $35.00/hr; trainees advance to System Operator
