Base-2 Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Systems and Network Administrator to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems across client/server/storage/network devices and mobile endpoints.

The role requires 10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in a technical field, Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, and hands-on skills with Linux/Windows, virtualization, and IT service management tools such as JIRA/Confluence and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Support dispatch system and hardware problem resolution processes.
• Configure and manage virtual and storage environments; Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.
• Install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure virtual, storage, and network components.
• Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Position Summary
