Job summary

Solidigm is seeking a System Modeling Engineer in Rancho Cordova, CA to design, develop, and maintain software models for NAND-based SSDs used in enterprise applications.

You will work on a team delivering forward-looking insights, evaluate deployed and upcoming systems, and help meet business needs with advanced data analysis and AI-assisted development techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, CE, or related field with 5 years of experience or a Master’s with 2 years.
• Experience with Bitbucket/Jira/Confluent and data analysis.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills (oral and written).
• Experience with agentic coding or AI-assisted development.

Job Description

The System modeling development team is looking for a System Modeling Engineer with background in data analysis and NAND based Solid State Drive experience, to help design, develop and maintain software models with the intent of providing valuable forward-looking insights for the development and productization of SSDs for enterprise applications. The modeling engineer will be part of a team that is responsible for assessingvarious aspects of deployed or yet to be deployedsystems to meet business requirements of potential or existing customers.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's in CS, EE, CE, or related field and 5 years experience or Masters degree in CS, EE, CE, or related field and 2 years experience

Required:

• Working within an ecosystem such as Bitbucket/Jira/Confluent
• Proven data analysis acumen.
• Presentation skills both written and oral.
• Experience with agentic coding or AI assisted development.

Preferred:

• Experience in modeling large behavior models of SSD
• Background in analyzing large data sets
• Knowledge of various modeled data visualization techniques

Additional Information

This position is also eligible to participate in Solidigm's restricted stock unit (RSU), restricted cash unit (RCU), and cash bonus programs. The compensation range for this role is $128,960 - $201,500. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
