Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking an experienced Cardiologist who is highly skilled, board certified, with significant experience/training in echocardiography, MRI, CT, and/or Nuclear Cardiology. This position will focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the inpatient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting.
The System Medical Director of Cardiac Imaging Integration will coordinate the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and clinical quality of all cardiac imaging services (Echocardiography, Nuclear, SPECT CT, PET CT, CT, MRI) within Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute, and in partnership with Radiology across the ecosystem. Reporting to the HVI SVP, Operations and HVI Physicians-in-Chief, this role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, optimizing imaging resource utilization, and driving innovation in cardiac imaging technology.
