Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a System Level Test engineer to join the team in San Diego. You will work on IC design review, hardware testing, and software development to stress and validate SoCs across mobile, compute, and auto platforms.

Responsibilities include early silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, and creating automated test content for various operating conditions, with collaboration across multiple engineering groups.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience in system or bench-level testing, preferably within mobile, automotive, IoT, or microprocessor industries.
  • Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems (Android, Windows, Linux, or RTOS).
  • Experience with embedded systems and SoC-level testing concepts.
  • Ability to develop or execute test cases for processors, graphics, memory, thermal behavior, and power performance of SoCs.
  • Experience reading specifications, creating test plans, and using test sequencers.
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Perforce or Git.
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Python, C#, or .NET.

  • Testing and characterization of hardware with system software.
  • Verification of device performance at various operating conditions (voltage, process, temperature).
  • Engineer will also partner with development teams to create automated test content solutions that stress the SoC across mobile, compute, automobile, server, and modem chipsets at various operating conditions.
  • Work will also include working with team project leads to develop effective production screens for system level issues.
