Role Overview

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem‑solving is essential as you collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and write system specifications. You’ll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you’ll identify and mitigate risks, confirming that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or develop and execute complex projects that combine electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design; attend design reviews and provide input to meet market requirement specifications and hardware/software specifications.
  • Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand system requirements.
  • Lead architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to down‑select to a final architecture of a top‑level system.
  • Write detailed specifications that cover all aspects of subsystem modules, including interfaces to the product, using systems analysis to create diagrams.
  • Create concepts for complex architectural design approaches.
  • Lead team evaluations of architectures to provide recommendations for the best system solution approach; provide feedback on a variety of components and modules.
  • Identify and troubleshoot a range of complex engineering problems in the field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
  • Support system integration during assembly and final testing of new product designs.
  • Interface with groups to work out design, systems architecture development, and integration issues.
  • Define all equipment interfaces and systems architecture and ensure they are up to date and documented.
  • Work with vendors to develop new competitive products, including development of key suppliers.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7-10 years of experience.
