Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC (ProSync) seeks a System Engineer to maintain Windows and Linux environments, ensure security compliance, and support enterprise infrastructure. You will work on a small team, automate workflows, and interface with users to resolve issues while safeguarding mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities include patch management, network device support (Cisco/Juniper/Arista), containerization with Kubernetes, and Active Directory/LDAP services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field plus 6 years of system engineering experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong system engineering and administration skills.
  • Solid security compliance knowledge.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux administration.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization.
  • Experience with Active Directory/LDAP/Centrify/Group Policy.
  • Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end system engineering and administration for Windows and Linux environments supporting mission-critical operations.
  • Security compliance management including patching and audit readiness.
  • Automation to streamline system administration and compliance tasks.
  • Networking device support with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista.
  • Containerization and Kubernetes deployments in modernization efforts.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and related services.
  • Ensure security protocols and patching are maintained.

ProSync is seeking a System Engineer with strong experience in system administration, automation, security compliance, and enterprise infrastructure support. The engineer will work on a small, mission‑focused team responsible for maintaining system integrity, performance, and security across critical client/server environments. This role requires hands‑on administration of Windows and Linux systems, support for networking devices, and familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can interact frequently with users and customers, elevate issues appropriately, and ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and operational.

Responsibilities:
  • System Engineering & Administration — Provide end‑to‑end system engineering and administration for Windows and Linux environments supporting mission‑critical operations.
  • Security Compliance Management — Maintain strict security compliance across systems, including patching, protocol enforcement, configuration validation, and audit readiness.
  • Automation & Management — Develop or support automation workflows to streamline system administration, configuration management, and compliance tasks.
  • Networking Device Support — Work with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista devices to ensure reliable connectivity, proper configuration, and secure operation.
  • Containerization & Kubernetes — Support containerized environments and Kubernetes‑based deployments as part of modernization and operational workflows.
  • Directory & Identity Services — Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and related identity and access management services.
  • Security Protocols & Patching — Ensure systems adhere to required security protocols, perform regular patching, and maintain secure configurations.
  • User & Customer Interaction — Work closely with users and customers to resolve issues, gather requirements, and support mission operations.
  • Issue Escalation — Communicate and elevate technical issues to management in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of experience in system engineering (OR) An Associate's Degree, a High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (OR) A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience (OR) A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Strong System Engineering and System Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Security Compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of networking devices. (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
  • System Administration skills for Windows/Linux.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization.
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching.
  • Communication and escalation of issues to management.
  • A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.
