This System Engineering position is an exciting opportunity responsible for task order execution in support of the highly successful Command and Control Consolidated System supporting the C‑SAR program based in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate, as part of our engineering team, will work with our management, product, and IR&D teams to help create strategic technical visions.

Responsibilities include: supporting the C‑SAR System Engineering team to ensure all engineering contractual requirements and deliverables are met; performing studies and capturing technical analysis; participating in CDRLs generation and deliveries; engaging in SecDevOps and related Agile practices (Atlassian suite); decomposing and analyzing requirements; designing system architecture; generating and updating system documentation; providing technical advice to customers on architectures and solutions; delivering effective customer presentations; attending highly technical engineering team meetings; and traveling as necessary to conferences and customer meetings.

Experience and Skills

• 5+ years engineering experience
• BS in SE, CS, EE, ME or other engineering equivalent
• Complete knowledge of Agile methodology
• Support programs through SRR, PDR, CDR or equivalent design reviews
• Familiarity with modern IT infrastructure capabilities including virtualization, cloud deployment and containerization (CNFs)
• Self‑motivated and comfortable supporting multiple groups of developers, engineers, and testers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts internally and externally
• Working knowledge of space systems, including ground systems, satellite command and control, and system development processes is a plus

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with SCN
• Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud architecture
• Experience with SecDevOps processes
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) is a plus
• Model‑Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or Enterprise Architect
• Familiarity with modern IT infrastructure capabilities including virtualization, cloud deployment and containerization (CNFs)
• Security+ certification is beneficial but not required

Competitive salary based on experience and education. Salary Range: $100,000‑$140,000.
