Job summary

Arclin seeks a Systems Engineer – Microsoft Platform & Cloud Operations to optimize the Microsoft ecosystem across a global manufacturing environment. You will work hands-on with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and hybrid infrastructure to drive reliability, security, and continuous improvement at scale.

The role collaborates with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Engineering, application teams, MSPs, and stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient platforms aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Entra ID, and Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, endpoint management, authentication, security controls, backup and recovery, and operational support practices.
• Experience working within incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Manage user provisioning, licensing, mail flow, collaboration services, device management, and platform configurations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate escalations with Microsoft and external service providers.
• Monitor platform health, security, adoption, and operational performance to recommend improvements.
• Support and administer Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Manage Azure virtual machines, storage, backup and recovery, resource access, monitoring, and identity integrations.
• Participate in cloud governance, cost optimization, and lifecycle management activities.
• Execute infrastructure changes following established change management and documentation processes.
• Administer Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.
• Support MFA, conditional access, privileged access controls, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Manage Intune device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment.
• Investigate authentication, endpoint, and access-related incidents using monitoring and platform tools.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, directory synchronization, certificates, and relatedMicrosoft infrastructure services.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, and incident resolution activities.
• Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities for business-critical systems.
• Support cloud migrations, platform upgrades, infrastructure modernization projects, acquisitions, and site onboarding efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring administrative tasks through PowerShell and approved automation tools.

About the Role:

Arclin is seeking a Systems Engineer – Microsoft Platform & Cloud Operations to support and optimize our Microsoft ecosystem across a global manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure professional who enjoys working across Microsoft 365, Azure, identity services, endpoint management, and hybrid infrastructure while helping drive reliability, security, and continuous improvement at scale.

As a member of our Infrastructure Operations team, you'll collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Engineering, application teams, managed service providers, and business stakeholders to ensure our Microsoft platforms remain secure, resilient, and aligned with business needs.

What You'll Do:

Microsoft 365 Administration & Support

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID.

• Investigate authentication, endpoint, and access-related incidents using monitoring and platform tools.

Infrastructure & Service Reliability

• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, directory synchronization, certificates, and related Microsoft infrastructure services.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, and incident resolution activities.
• Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities for business-critical systems.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Support cloud migrations, platform upgrades, infrastructure modernization projects, acquisitions, and site onboarding efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring administrative tasks through PowerShell and approved automation tools.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, cloud partners, and managed service providers.
