Responsibilities

• Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to design system‑level solutions, including the integration of SoCs, schematic and layout evaluations, manufacturing support, production testing, system validation, and troubleshooting. A critical aspect of the role will be ensuring that all designs are suitable for small form factor applications.
• Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and subsystems, including analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to ensure the successful integration of electrical systems into products.
• Perform schematic design, PCB layout review, and ensure the electrical systems meet required performance, power, and size constraints.
• Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and performance testing to ensure the functionality of electrical systems.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to select components, ensuring compatibility with design specifications.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system‑level design and integration.
• In‑depth knowledge of mixed‑signal components such as PMICs, amplifiers, codecs, sensors, op‑amps, ADCs, DACs, memory, charging circuits, and experience with integrating SoCs into designs and adding peripherals.
• Strong understanding of analog and mixed‑signal design principles, including noise, linearity, and signal integrity.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, UART, I²S, PCI‑e, etc.
• Familiarity with integrating designs into small form factor products, ensuring functionality within space and power constraints.
• Familiarity with low‑power electronics, sensor interface circuits, and SoC integration.
• Experience with prototyping, debugging, and characterizing mixed‑signal hardware.

This is a full‑time, exempt position based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $110,000 - $200,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
