Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.

Amazon CloudFront’s Engineering team is looking for an experienced Systems Development Engineer to build and develop new hardware and provisioning platforms, and build automation and tooling of critical service reliability and efficient functions that are secure, massively scale, are fault-tolerant, and global.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
