Astrion seeks a Systems Cybersecurity Journeyman at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA, to support Cloud One programs within the Enterprise IT and Cyber Infrastructure directorate. Administrative requirements include BA/BS or MA/MS with DoD experience or 7 years of related work (5 in DoD), a Secret clearance, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS or MA/MS and 3 years of DoD experience, or 7 years of directly related experience with 5 years in DoD.
• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance.
• Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all system and application deliverables meet the requirements of all DoD and Air Force Cybersecurity policies.
• Ensure that 100% of labor provided to deliver cybersecurity services are certified per DoDD 8140 and DoD 8570.01-M standards.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Cybersecurity policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01 and AFI 17-130.
• Support activities and meet requirements of DoDI 8520.02 for PKI and enabling PKI capabilities.

System Cybersecurity Journeyman

LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, Bedford MA

Salary Range: $125-$135,000 annually

JOB STATUS: Full-time

CLEARANCE: Secret

TRAVEL: Limited, as needed

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Cybersecurity professional in the Enterprise IT and Cyber Infrastructure directorate working on Cloud One programs located at Hanscom AFB in Bedford Massachusetts. Cloud One (C1) is the Air Force evolution to standardized platforms and application support services providing secure cloud environments, engineered environments, and cyber security solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• Education: BA/BS or MA/MS and 3 years of experience, of which 3 years must be in the DoD
  • OR 7 years of directly related experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD
• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
• Must be a US citizen

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The individual shall ensure that all system and application deliverables meet the requirements of all DoD and Air Force Cybersecurity policies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The individual shall ensure that, as a minimum, 100% of the total labor provided to deliver cybersecurity services are certified in accordance with DoDD 8140 and DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, standards.
• The individual shall ensure that all system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 17-130, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.
• The individual shall ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically DoDI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems, and AFI 17-101, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.
• The individual shall support activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, in order to achieve standardized, PKI-supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication.
