Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a seasoned Systems Analyst to support software development initiatives focused on APIs, data, and distributed ecosystems. You will document requirements, engage with architects, and coordinate API integrations across REST, SOAP, JSON, and related technologies.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in systems analysis, strong SQL skills, and experience with Agile methodologies. Exposure to AI/ML concepts is a plus; location includes Dallas, TX or Durham, NC with on-site work

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst in software development.
  • Strong background in authoring solution requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational database schemas.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Gherkin/Cucumber.
  • Experience with test data generation tools (e.g., Hexawise).
  • Ability to coordinate releases and analyze production incidents using tools like Splunk.
  • Skilled in creating business flow diagrams and OpenAPI contracts.
  • Understanding of solution architecture and ability to collaborate with architects and tech leads.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate releases and analyze production incidents using Splunk.
  • Author solution requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Create and review OpenAPI contracts and business flow diagrams.
  • Ensure integration with REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs.
  • Collaborate with architects and tech leads on solution architecture.
  • Apply Agile practices and Jira throughout development.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts is a plus.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $91407 to $113808 per annum.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
