Summary: Analyzes business requirements, procedures, and problems to plan new solutions or to enhance existing software/hardware solutions. Develop and assist in creating statements of work for complex and high-level projects. Work with the IT Supervisor to develop coding sprint events and mentor junior developers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Confers with process owners about current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is summarized or displayed, and in what formats.Writes or assists in SOW creation. Collects detailed description of user needs and steps required to develop or modify a process or application.Reviews current systems capabilities, workflow, and limitations to determine if the change requests are already possible within existing systems.Studies existing systems to evaluate effectiveness. Leads or assists in the upgrade or new development of the process to improve production or workflow as required.Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify, in detail, operations to be performed by equipment, applications and the operations to be performed by personnel.Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs.Works with IT Supervisor to develop proof of concept and prototyping projects.Ensures all application development adheres to TMA’s coding, GUI and design standards.Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation for applications.Upgrades systems and corrects errors to maintain system after implementation.Assists IT Supervisor in Sprint scheduling and project durations.Prepares time and cost estimates for completing projects.Direct and coordinates work of others to develop, test, install, and modify systems and applications.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) from four-year college or university; or four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of C#, VB, .Net and MSSQL, Microsoft Office Suite; Accounting software; Inventory software; Payroll systems; Development software; Design software; Internet software; Human Resource systems; Order processing systems; Project Management software; Manufacturing software; Database software and Contact Management systemsMust have VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, REST/SOAP API, MS SQL (basic query and store procedures), and manufacturing ERP experience.MS SSRS report writing, Zebra (ZPL), advanced SQL techniques, MS Office Application integration, Active Directory/LDAP, Android application (tablet) development a plus.
