Job summary

AtZenfreed in Lansing, MI, is seeking a seasoned IT professional to provide technical support for COTS packages for the Management and Budget division. You will install and configure systems on Windows and Linux, gather requirements, and propose options to improve existing and new applications.

Heavy collaboration with vendors and customers is required to ensure security, compliance, and timely delivery. The role demands strong analytical skills and experience across cloud, on‑prem, and SAAS

Qualifications

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing technical support for COTS (Custom Off the Shelf) packages for the Management and Budget side of DTMB.

Job Duties

• Installing systems and application components and configuring them on Windows and Linux environments.
• Gathering and documenting requirements
• Researching and presenting options
• Analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts
• Ensuring application and infrastructure security following Federal, State and industry standards are also an essential trait in this role Requires heavy collaboration with vendors, customers, and other technical areas to understand and execute projects and changes timely
• Expected to be proficient and knowledgeable with the following tools and technologies: Windows Server
  administration (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0 and above, Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/GCP, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management
  Studio, Dynatrace/ Similar debug tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), Network
  knowledge LAN/WAN, Architecture, Firewalls, IOT, etc.
• Will maintain various COTS applications and help configure changes as required for some SAAS products
• Should have thorough analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagramming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server support duties

Requirements

5-7 years:

• Install and configure systems and application components on Windows and Linux environments
• Gather and document requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts
• Experienced and knowledgeable with the following tools and technologies: Windows Server administration
  (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0 and above, Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/GCP, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management
  Studio, Dynatrace/ Similar debug tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), Network
  knowledge LAN/WAN, Architecture, Firewalls, IOT, etc.

3-5 years:

• Experience implementing and configuring applications in Azure Cloud infrastructure, proficiency in Azure s ervices, containerization,

• Local candidates only (must be located within 2 hours of Lansing, MI at time of submission)
• Positionis a hybrid schedule withNO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.
• Working hoursMonday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to5:00 p.m.
