Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a research-focused engineer to develop state-of-the-art sensor fusion algorithms for HW ASIC implementations. You will work with MATLAB/Python in the development process and deliver complete algorithm design and user documentation.

The role involves balancing performance and power with fixed-point design, collaborating with global teams, and delivering robust C/C++ software on Qualcomm platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience applying digital signal processing concepts.
• Experience with adaptive and Kalman filtering.
• Experience in ML concepts like supervised/unsupervised learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for single and multi-sensor fusion toward HW ASIC implementations.
• Develop fixed-point designs of algorithms.
• Balance performance, power consumption, and computational complexity.
• Create reports on algorithm evaluation, validation, benchmarking, and deliver documentation.
• Work with global development and test teams.
• Code solutions in C/C++ for Qualcomm platforms.
