Job summary

EverWatch is seeking a seasoned System Administrator to support mission-critical networks and modernize our security infrastructure. You’ll manage multi-OS environments, virtualization, and cloud services while driving performance monitoring and incident resolution.

The role requires 8+ years in a systems administration capacity, experience with VMware/Hyper‑V, AWS/Azure, and scripting. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required; roles are based in US locations including Annapolis Junction

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT support role.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, or macOS and server administration.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, or VPNs.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery, disaster recovery planning, and system monitoring.
• Knowledge of scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• HS Diploma or GED.

Qualifications – You Have

• 8+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT support role
• Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS and server administration
• Experience with network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, or VPNs
• Experience with system virtualization such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, disaster recovery planning, and system monitoring
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate administrative tasks
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS Diploma or GED

Qualifications – Nice If You Have

• 15+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT support role
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Bachelor’s degree
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Network+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $72.12 to $110.58 per hour.
