Job summary

ClearEdge seeks an IT Infrastructure professional to support Microsoft Domain administration, AD/GPO, VMware ESXi, and SaltStack within a Windows/Linux environment. The role involves managing infrastructure, implementing and troubleshooting IT systems, and ensuring secure, reliable operation for mission-critical workloads in a DoD-focused setting.

You will collaborate with a technical team to optimize performance, monitor systems, apply patches, and manage network components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; four years may substitute.
• Five years of IT infrastructure and IT Operations experience.
• Knowledge of infrastructure standards (e.g. NIST, CMMC) is required
• Strong Windows system administration skills (AD, GPO, etc.)
• Active or current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage and support all aspects of technology infrastructure systems including: Microsoft Domain administration, GPO management, VMware/ESXi, Cisco Route/Switch, Firewall Management and SaltStack
• Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
• Provide problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Manage IT systems operation from standard processes to problem identification and resolution for all connected client, server, storage, and network
• Monitor and communicate the operational status of IT systems to customer management
• Optimize system performance, operation, and resource utilization
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to internal customers
• Configure and manage operating systems
• Conduct/facilitate installs/loads of operating system software
• Maintain patch sets across a distributed set of nodes, considering rolling updates to avoid mission load impact
• Maintain the integrity of network components
• Implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

• Knowledge of infrastructure standards (e.g. NIST, CMMC) is required
• Proven track record in infrastructure design and delivery
• Strong Windows system administration skills (AD, local/group policy, etc.)
• Active or current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance Nice to have:
• Experience in a Linux environment
