Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Linux System Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across development, test, and production environments. The role emphasizes security, performance, and reliability to support business applications and IT initiatives.

This hybrid position requires 3 days onsite per week, with collaboration across application, network, security, and cloud teams to ensure scalable, resilient infrastructure and continuous service availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant certifications preferred (RHCSA, RHCE, Linux , LPIC, AWS SysOps, or equivalent).
• 3 years of experience administering Linux operating systems in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted Linux servers.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring, backup, and security tools.
• Strong experience with Linux distributions such as: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux Enterprise.

Responsibilities
