Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a hands-on IT administrator to set up and manage a secure test lab and production-like environment in Warrenville, IL. You will rack and configure servers, install Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, and deploy VMs with ESXi, Hyper-V, and Proxmox.

You will also configure RAID storage, manage firewall rules via GUI (Cisco FTD/FPD), and assist SIEM/monitoring deployments for nuclear facilities while documenting all changes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Configure RAID storage and server hardware components.
• Support firewall rule configuration via GUI (Cisco FTD/FPD).
• Assist SIEM/net monitoring systems deployment and testing at nuclear facilities.
• Document configurations, testing procedures, and system changes.
