Job summary

Vibrint seeks a System Administrator to maintain Linux/Unix environments and HPC infrastructure across multi-vendor servers and clusters. You will support IT systems, storage, and monitoring, ensuring reliable performance for mission-critical analysis and scalable national security outcomes.

You will collaborate with engineers, contribute to capacity planning, and help advance HPC capabilities in a fast-paced, high-security environment requiring TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Minimum five years of demonstratable system administration experience (or ten years in lieu of degree).
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and advance Linux/Unix operating systems; install/loads OS software and troubleshoot.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support and diagnose problems.
• Support IT systems and storage for day-to-day operations.
• Monitor and resolve issues for client storage/network devices; optimize capacity.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork; improve reliability and performance.

By joining this particular High Performance Computing (HPC) prime contract, you'll help maintain and advance the computing infrastructure that powers unprecedented mission‑critical analysis, scientific discovery, and scalable national security outcomes. As a System Administrator on this program, you will help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi‑vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. You'll have the opportunity to grow your technical expertise alongside highly skilled engineers, collaborate with exceptional teammates, and directly contribute to missions that strengthen our nation's security. You'll also end your day knowing that you're doing work that truly matters. Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and advance Linux and Unix operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems and storage. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support to IT systems including day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client storage/network devices. Demonstrate superior communication, contribute to team efficiency, and work towards solutions. Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.

Qualifications

Experience with Linux OS install, file system configuration, TCP/IP networking, configuration, operating system and application troubleshooting, BASH scripting, software compilation and install Technical storage experience Understanding of HPC architecture, knowledge of high-speed networks such as InfiniBand, Slingshot

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Minimum five (5) years of demonstratable system administration experience or ten (10) years minimum experience in lieu of degree
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification
