Job summary

Applied Training Solutions seeks a qualified System Administrator to support the Special Operations Mission Training Center at Fort Bragg, NC. You will manage enterprise IT systems, ensure mission readiness, and coordinate with DoD security frameworks.

The role requires DoD compliance, virtualization experience, and strong troubleshooting skills for training and mission command platforms.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military training.
• Current DCWF System Administrator (451) Basic proficiency certification.
• Security+ CE or CySA+ certifications are acceptable.
• Knowledge of system administration, network and OS hardening techniques.
• Experience with virtualization and server management.
• Familiarity with DoD security tools and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise IT systems and servers at Fort Bragg.
• Configure and harden operating systems and network services per DoD requirements.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot system, server, and network issues.
• Support Joint/Army Mission Command systems and training platforms.
• Implement cybersecurity protections with DoD tools (AESS, Trellix, Defender).
• Manage virtualization environments, VM provisioning, patching, backups.
• Maintain system documentation and audit-related records.
• Operate within Secret clearance requirements and security policies.
