The role requires interim DoD 8140/8570 certification within a reasonable time frame and US citizenship to obtain a security clearance. RTX offers relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package for a full-time onsite position.

What You Will Do

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows andRedhatEnterpriseLinuxenvironment.
• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
• Working as a team member inafast-pacedtechnologicalenvironment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within a reasonable amount of time
• Full time 100% Onsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Windows and or /Linux operating systems.
• Experience withServer architectures and troubleshooting methods.
• Must be able to develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Linux RedHat experience
• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
• Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
• Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
