Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking an experienced System Administrator to support, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems across client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. The role focuses on Tier I and Tier II problem resolution and ensuring reliable operations.

The ideal candidate brings TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 5 years of administrative experience, or a technical bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience. On-site work with cross-location mobility is expected.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve Tier I (Help Desk) problems.
  • Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
  • Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in‑depth troubleshooting of IT systems.
  • Deliver detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
  • Support dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems; install/load operating system software; troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components; implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Job Overview

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes. Provides day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and other IT assets. Supports Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier II (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Communicates status to agency management and internal customers. Configures and manages UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, installs and loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components to improve reliability and performance.

Compensation

Hourly pay range: $42.42 – $104.64. Compensation is a general guideline and may vary based on government contract rates, education, relevant prior experience, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and geographic location. Hourly rates reflect pre‑benefit gross wage amounts.
