Job summary

BCT LLC, headquartered in Maryland, seeks a System Administrator I to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide Enterprise Infrastructure support, design BOMs, and prepare diagrams and documentation for new and updated installations.

You will work with network, storage, and server personnel to implement robust solutions and meet capacity and user requirements. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Poly and DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher, with at least 1 year of experience in modern OS

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management IAM Level I or higher is required
• Must have at least one 1 year of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures
• Must have at least one 1 year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation architecture development and design
• Risk Assessments and IA Metrics gathering
• Ability to optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning
• Ability to break down complex problem space formulate technical strategies build action plans and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations
• Configuring and managing Linux Unix and Windows operating systems and installingloading operating systems software troubleshooting maintaining integrity of and configuring network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
• Managing virtual servers through VMWare and similar hypervisor products

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five 5 years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required Five 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree

Salary Range

Salary Range 103700 129500 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however BCT LLC considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience education skills and current market conditions
