SES Space & Defense seeks a Systems Administrator to manage enterprise servers, virtualization, storage, and mission applications in secure DoD environments at Pope AAF, NC. You will ensure availability, security, and compliance while supporting critical programs.
The role requires DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification, 5+ years of experience with Windows/Linux, AD, and storage, plus strong documentation and incident-response skills.

In this role, you'll be responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting enterprise infrastructure and mission systems that enable secure, reliable, and resilient operations for SES Space & Defense customers. You'll execute the day-to-day administration of enterprise servers, virtual machines, storage platforms, and mission applications while ensuring system availability, security, compliance, and operational readiness across secure environments.
You are an experienced Systems Administrator with a strong foundation in enterprise server administration, virtualization, storage, and infrastructure support within secure and mission-critical environments. You excel at maintaining highly available systems, proactively resolving operational issues, and ensuring enterprise platforms remain secure, compliant, and operational while supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government customers.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $[MIN] to $[MAX]. The final base salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the position's location, the candidate's relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
