Who We Are

At Puck, we are Built to Lead. We are a dynamic manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products and fostering a team environment where every member plays a critical role in our success. If you are a technically skilled, proactive IT professional with hands‑on infrastructure and network experience who thrives on keeping systems running and organizations secure, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Puck's IT infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure operations across office and manufacturing environments. You will lead system performance, network stability, cybersecurity practices, and user support — balancing day‑to‑day support with longer‑term system improvements and strategic IT initiatives.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
Systems Administration
  • Administering and maintaining servers, endpoints, networks, and cloud-based services to ensure system reliability and production uptime
  • Implementing system monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery processes in alignment with ISO 9001 operational control and risk‑based thinking
  • Ensuring systems supporting manufacturing, quality, and shipping functions are controlled, available, and recoverable
  • Partnering with external partners, operations, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Planning and executing system changes in coordination with production schedules
  • Developing, maintaining, and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Ensuring change management practices are followed for system updates and infrastructure changes
  • Maintaining asset inventories, access logs, and system documentation to support traceability and audit readiness
  • Establishing escalation paths and incident response procedures
Cybersecurity & CMMC 2.0 Compliance
  • Coordinating implementation and maintaining security controls aligned with CMMC 2.0 Level 1 / Level 2 requirements, including access control, identification and authentication, system patching, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and incident detection and response
  • Maintaining documentation, system inventories, and evidence required for cybersecurity assessments
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure secure handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) where applicable
Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
  • Using data, incident trends, and audit findings to drive improvements in system reliability and security
  • Evaluating emerging risks and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning
