Job summary

RHP Properties in Farmington Hills, MI, seeks a System Administrator to support IT infrastructure across multiple sites and help build a secure, world‑class organization.

The role requires 5–10 years of Windows system administration, experience with AD, MS Exchange and MS 365, virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), Azure, and cloud apps, plus strong communication skills to translate technical terms to clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or satisfactory combination of formal education and relevant work experience required.
• 5-10 years of relevant Windows system administration experience.
• Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
• Experience with Active Directory, MS Exchange, & MS 0365.
• Knowledge of operating systems & network protocols.
• Understanding of SQL databases, service desk systems, & secured third‑party applications.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture (Azure), Artificial Intelligence, & DevOps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to translate technical terms to customers.

Responsibilities

• Administrator the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware & software systems for clients
• Provide advanced level IT troubleshooting
• Configure, maintain, and support internal/cloud applications, servers & end‑user devices
• Development of secure IT environment with cyber security & development teams
• Work with software & hardware vendors
• Work with team members to identify new opportunities for clients to improve their business with technology.
• Assist with client onboarding, projects, documentation, & testing client environments
• Accept directions from leadership, department leaders and executive teams as needed
• Understanding of emerging technologies within the business & technology environments
