The AES Group is seeking an experienced System Administrator to lead enterprise infrastructure operations and guide a team of ~15 professionals. You will ensure system reliability, security, performance, and efficiency while driving automation.

Responsibilities include managing Windows Server environments, AD, GPOs, SCCM, and virtualization with VMware. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 6–10 years of system administration experience.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• CompTIA Server+, MCSA, MCP, or an equivalent Windows Server certification.
• Strong experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft SCCM.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies.
• Experience with patch management, backups, monitoring, and server maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams, work independently, and manage competing priorities.

• Participate in infrastructure design discussions and provide technical recommendations.

This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, performance, availability, and operational efficiency while driving automation and process improvements.
