Job description

Engineering Support LINUX platform of around 35000 servers (virtual and physical) with:

• Level 3 LINUX administrations skills inclusive of LINUX securities, standards, configurations, patch management, vulnerability remediations, automation, scripting, coding etc.
• DevOps expertise with chef/ansible/github

Technical skills:

• Subject matter expertise (level 3) in managing EHS platforms with securities/standards/configurations - LINUX (RHEL)
• Higher level Expertise in Automation - Scripting, Infrastructure coding (IaaS/Paas)
• Higher level Expertise in managing configuration management tools - CHEF, Ansible
• DevOps Expertise - Version control/management tools with Github/Jenkins
• Expertise in Vulnerability Management and Remediations
• Engineering and Solutioning mindset - RCA, Troubleshooting, Problem Mgmt for complex issues

People Skills:

• Leadership skills - Collaboration/Coordination/Communication skills
• Project management with end to end deliverables
• Server as a coach/Mentor for peer team

Good to have skills:

• Knowledgeable about Cloud Technologies - AWS, Azure, GCP
• Knowledge about other platforms - VMware, Rocky/Alma, AIX, HA products, Containers
• Expertise in Infrastructure Monitoring and Reporting tools - Splunk
• Moderate knowledge of VMware, Storage, Networking supporting EHS platforms
