Job summary

Nightwing seeks an Information Systems Administrator to join a small, mission-focused team supporting multiple Windows networks. You will install, configure, and maintain servers and storage, manage user accounts, and provide desktop support while maintaining thorough system documentation.

You will collaborate on secure architectures, secure data traffic, and privacy practices and coordinate third-party maintenance. Travel up to 10% OCONUS may be required.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 5+ years IT experience including at least 2 years administering Microsoft Windows server and Windows desktops.
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting on small to medium-sized networks
• Solid understanding of information security practices
• Familiarity with Windows based data storage
• Experience creating, maintaining, and updating system documentation
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Nigthwing is seeking a highly motivated Information Systems Administrator (SA) to join a small team in a dynamic, mission focused environment, supporting multiple small to medium Microsoft Server/Windows networks. The SA will install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, computers, software infrastructure, and manage user accounts. The SA will monitor and tune server/client system performance, install system wide software and upgrades, and allocate storage space. The candidate will provide desktop support to local users, and process and maintain inventory. The candidate will collaborate on a wide range of issues including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, information security and privacy, and will coordinate third-party maintenance for client equipment. Candidate should be will to travel up to 10% OCONUS for field support.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Minimum five years IT experience including at least two years of experience administering Microsoft Windows server and Windows desktop operating systems
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting on small to medium-sized network
• Solid understanding of information security practices
• Familiarity with Windows based data storage.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and updating system documentation, diagrams, and security documentation
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
