Job summary

Eurofins USA Genomic Services in Louisville, KY is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support the lab under the Laboratory Manager. You will perform assigned tests and maintain records in compliance with quality systems.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to follow instructions, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided; schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm with training Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. We offer comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform under pressure of a fast paced production environment.
• Proven ability to work well with a team with little supervision.
• Annual RCRA awareness training.

• Completes successfully applicable on-site training programs in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Laboratory Technician I receives sufficient authority from and is accountable to Laboratory Manager or Team Lead for the successful completion of assigned duties and responsibilities and has the authority to take action necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position and to identify the occurrence of departures from the quality system or from the procedures for performing tests and/or calibrations, so long as such action does not deviate from established company guidelines, is consistent with sound technical and business judgment, and follows the practices of the laboratory.

• Ability to lift 35+ pounds.
