Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking sworn police officers to join its Company Police Force in North Carolina. The role includes patrols, public safety duties, and legal responsibilities on a hospital campus.

The position offers Full Time, Part Time, Weekend Only and on-call options with a starting rate of $37.50 per hour. Bonuses include a $2,000 hiring incentive, an additional $2,000 after first anniversary, and a $4,000 annual bonus thereafter.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old and an active police officer, not retired.
• High School Diploma or GED, Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification.
• North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Attend required periodic training and seminars; maintain proficiency in firearms.
• Able to work in various environments; lift up to 40 pounds; climb stairs; stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital campus; check property; conduct room searches; maintain order and public safety.
• Issue traffic and parking citations; apprehend suspects; collect and preserve evidence; conduct investigations; respond to emergencies; provide escorts; chauffeur division heads as requested.
• Attend required periodic training and seminars; maintain proficiency in firearms.
• Perform other duties as required to meet the client’s needs.

Qualifications:

• Be at least 21 years of age. You must be an active police officer not retired
• High School Diploma or GED, Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification.
• North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Attend required periodic training sessions and seminars, maintain required level of proficiency in the use of firearms
• Able to:
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Responsibilities:

• Performs general law enforcement duties including patrolling hospital campus, checking property, conducting room searches, maintaining order and public safety.
• Issues traffic and parking citations; apprehends, questions and arrests suspects; collects and preserves evidence; conducts investigations; responds to and assists in all medical emergencies; assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings; provides security escorts for personnel; and chauffeurs division heads and visitors as requested.
• Attends required periodic training sessions and seminars; maintains required level of proficiency in the use of firearms.
• perform other duties as required to meet the client’s needs.
