Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient use of basic dock equipment and scanners.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard, doors, and yard areas as required.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using yard management systems or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Adhere to yard switching safety processes and procedures.
• Assist with package handling as needed: loading/unloading and sorting.
