Job summary

Barnes Aerospace Ogden division is seeking a Unit Team Lead to provide day-to-day leadership for a swing shift, ensuring production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are met. This working lead coordinates workflow and assists with scheduling to maintain efficient operations.

The role requires hands-on supervision, troubleshooting, and a focus on process improvements while promoting safety, collaboration, and accountability within the department.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Technical aerospace manufacturing/machining experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-starter with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize work area to meet production goals and efficiency.
• Coordinate scheduling and monitor tasks to ensure on-time workflow.
• Provide supervision coverage and attend meetings; supervise staff when needed.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day operations and address issues with management escalation.
• Train employees, coach others, promote safety compliance.
