Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business segment of Element Solutions Inc., seeks a Swing Shift Supervisor to lead production technicians on the 2p–10:30p shift. You will ensure safe, compliant lab operations, manage schedules, and maintain quality standards while supporting synthesis and paste activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and experience in synthesis and/or paste operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in a lab, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical or related production environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; lead safety meetings.
• Supervise swing shift technicians and prioritize daily tasks.
• Monitor DCS, workflow, and equipment performance to hit production goals.
• Troubleshoot process, equipment and operational issues with maintenance teams.
• Act as primary swing shift contact for operations and support synthesis/paste activities.
• Maintain accurate batch records and logs; ensure cross-shift communication.
• Foster teamwork and drive continuous improvement across production.
