Job summary

PPG is seeking a Material Handler for the Oak Creek, WI area on 2nd & 3rd shift. Starting pay is $24.94 per hour. You will operate a swing-mast forklift to pick finished goods, prepare customer shipments, and load outbound trucks safely and accurately.

Responsibilities include selecting products from racking, verifying orders, labeling, loading trucks, and using a scanner/WMS to document picks. Safety, accuracy, and reliability are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a swing-mast forklift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits.
• Basic computer or scanner skills required.

Responsibilities

• Pick products from racking using swing-mast equipment.
• Verify order accuracy and stage materials for order.
• Prepare pallets, apply labels.
• Load trucks safely and efficiently.
• Use scanners or WMS to record picks and movements.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
