Qualifications

• Experience with livestock or swine production preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions reliably.
• Dependable work ethic with strong attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily barn walkthroughs to check pig health, feed, and water availability.
• Identify sick or injured pigs, move them to hospital pens, and give vaccinations/treatments as directed.
• Clean, power wash, and disinfect pens and barns between groups of pigs.
• Follow biosecurity protocols (shower-in/shower-out, boot changes, clean clothing).
• Report facility issues, feed shortages, or safety concerns to the Site Manager.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors to complete daily tasks.
• Complete daily task logs or treatment records accurately.
